Wat Si Muang and Buddha Park

hey everyone! i wanted to post a couple pics from yesterday, we checked out a temple (they call them a wat here) called Si Muang yesterday, and then another that i don't know the name... they were pretty spectacular!

here is something for the yard mom.... talk about edward scissor hands! :)

on the way back we saw these guys, playing this game that seems to be pretty popular around here. i don't know what it's called, but it must be the lao equivalent of soccer volleyball!

today we traded up to a sweet guest house. it cost twice as much as the one last night (9$ each) but our room has two beds, clean sheets, air conditioning, toilet paper, and even is clean!
this afternoon we took the local bus to a place called buddha park. it was an incredible small little park with a ton of amazing buddhist and hindu sculptures all in once place! it was so amazing, i feel like the pics speak for themselves... i heard a guide say that the statue below is "sun eat moon" meaning an eclipse... pretty sweet!

where we got our 10$ hour long traditional lao massages!
